solocritic was created to reignite the passion and love for video games coverage, reviews, and news. Its goal is to show that independent websites can still be created and thrive in changing conditions of this market that has harmed many beloved writers and brands in the process.
Most importantly, its about continuing to ensure there is a place for gamers to read about the games and developers they love and to have fun along the way. Some of this may change, as this is a passion project, but the core principles of why I created solocritic will always remain.
