Thunder Lotus Games, the developer behind Spiritfarer and Jotun, has announced its next title: At Fate’s End. The side-scrolling action-adventure is set to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. It will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.

At Fate’s End follows Shan, heir to the Hemlock clan, who wields the divine blade Aesus as she explores a fantasy world filled with corrupted creatures and hostile family members. Players will face off in traditional combat as well as unique dialogue-based duels where emotional stakes and past relationships influence the outcome.

Creative director Nicolas Guerin describes the game as “a mythic action-adventure about how families break apart—and how they might come back together,” noting it builds on the emotional storytelling foundation of Spiritfarer while shifting toward more intense, action-driven gameplay.

A release window beyond 2026 has not yet been specified. Thunder Lotus plans to share more details in the coming months.
