Team Meat has officially announced Super Meat Boy 3D, marking a shift for the notoriously difficult platforming series. Revealed during today’s Xbox Game Showcase, the game reimagines the fast-paced, precision-heavy chaos of the original Meat Boy titles in full 3D.

This new installment represents the franchise’s first foray into 3D gameplay and will retain the core essence that fans expect: challenging levels and plenty of gory respawns.

Super Meat Boy 3D is currently in development for consoles and PC.
