One of the more unexpected reveals of Summer Game Fest 2025 comes courtesy of Raw Power Games, a newly-formed studio based in Denmark. The team unveiled their debut title, Chronicles: Medieval—a seemingly third-person strategy-action game with a surprising narrator: actor Tom Hardy.

Set against the backdrop of brutal medieval warfare, Chronicles: Medieval promises “intense combat and epic scale battles,” according to its announcement at SGF where players will lead their own armies into war. Though the trailer leaned heavily on sweeping cinematics, a few glimpses of gameplay confirmed third-person control in large-scale battlefield encounters evoking shades of Mount & Blade.

Raw Power Games is aiming to have a release in early 2026 with Chronicles: Medieval is available to wishlist now on Steam.
